We decided to visit Horseneck Tavern on Mother’s Day. The hostess very nice lady said we had to wait for 20 min for our table and she offered us a small table to have a drink and wait for our table. We had a Margarita and later she moved us to our table. I ordered Fish Tacos and my hubby Steak Sandwich. We got our food and my Fish Tacos were cold and the tortillas were not cooked enough so I didn’t eat it. The sandwich bun was burned but hubby ate it anyway. We spend 1.5 hrs in the restaurant and the server only showed up 2 times to take our order and to bring salt 7 min later I asked for it. We ended up requesting the check 3 times to another server, a manager -I guess-and a third server. Just to mention I did not ask to get a second plate or to remove my meal from the check because nobody cared about asking if everything was fine. Hubby left 20% tip anyway but we sure never will visit this place again.

This place is simply AMAZING!!!! The atmosphere is beautiful and modern with a hint of rustic flair. the drinks and food are absolutely outstanding. I have never had a bad dish or drink there. I highly recommend the Horseback IPA for a drink and as for food, you can not go wrong. I have had the burger, short rib sandwich, fries, fish tacos, and more and it has all been delicious. They also have live music some nights like live jazz every Wednesday with young energetic groups and music. This is a great place to grab a drink with friends or take a date. The staff is also amazing, friendly, and attentive. Trevor and Olivia tend the bar extremely well and are super great people. I definitely recommend the Horseback Tavern.

Pros: amazing drinks and bartenders are fantastic. Great ambiance and good people at the bar. Manager is also a great guy. Cons: Food really sucks. I have been here multiple times and it is consistently a disappointment. If they got a new chef who could cook the place would be amazing. Salmon bland and tasteless, fish tacos come with a tiny little piece of fish and the tortilla is cold, and the burger is dry and tasteless (ordered medium). Friends feel the same way. Stick with drinks and the pretzel. Chef can’t mess that up.

Good overall. Nice happy hour. Good staff. Owner is in it for the right reasons. Live jazz several nights a week. Check it out.

Very nice restaurant. Food was excellent. Potato soup, Waldorf salad, meatball, burger, ribs, chicken, fries... Our table loved everything. And our waiter Tim was great. Very friendly and made the entire night just a bit more enjoyable.
