We were there yesterday for a Baptism celebration. The service at Locale was excellent. My husband and I had the salmon, cooked to perfection. The calamari was very good, tender and perfectly seasoned. I appreciate that they do not over salt the food. We are defenetelly planning to go yo Locale for dinner on our way from work

If you want an amazing outdoor space this is a defiantly one of the tops in Bergen County. I like but love the food but staff is lovey. There is a small bar inside that is nice since there are not a lot of bars in the Closter.

30 minutes after ordering 3 pasta and 1 chicken dishes had to ask server when it would be out. Said she would check. She did not come back to table until we flagged her down and finally at least 45 minutes after ordering was told one of the dishes was out of stock. Finally after over 70 minutes of sitting at table without food (excet bread that we wouldn't have gotten except we asked for it 20 min after being seated) we left. Have never done that before. Poor management.

Great music venue. Great selection of beer and wine. Great friendly vibe. Great bartenders. Get out and go there! Had an awesome time. Definitely will be back.

This is a great space that has a nice design and warmth that you don't find often. All of the staff and the owners are incredibly nice, always willing to make sure guests are satisfied. I came here for a corporate event and I was beyond impressed with the bar tending, service and wonderful food. Everyone truly enjoyed their various courses and had nothing but good things to say. I would definitely love to return here.
