It is good barbecue place. They also serve liquor. Food is very delicious, moderately priced. Only issue I found is that you have to wait a bit longer to get your food. It is because they prepare most of the items fresh. Also the barbecue smell is a bit stronger even after you leaves the place. If they could put a good exhaust fan in that place it would have been nice. Overall I can give 8 out of 10 for that place.

Always a very lively with great ambience. This is a welcoming place with good friendly service and very good food. If BBQ is your craving then this is the place for you... excellent sauces and meats that are cooked just right. As a big plus, they also serve a strong selection of various craft beer and ciders. So your thirst is quenched as well as a very satisfied stomach.

Traveling in the area and came across this cool place. Located in an old building, that's been renovated and outfitted quit well. Working off the appetizers secition....we ordered.... meatloaf sliders, bacon wrapped meatballs and pig candy.... Yummy Yum yum Will always stop in when visiting. Thanks to Hot Rod Staff

I have to say I like this place. Food was very good. Atmosphere was loud but friendly. Everyone is having a good time over a good meal. We especially enjoy the host. She welcomed us with a beautiful smile and was most accommodating. Now the down side. Our waiter wasn't informed enough to answer questions about how things are at Hot Rods. For example we were told by the host items are prepared fresh so Ribs are almost finished cooking but won't be done for another half hour. We asked our waiter if we should order Ribs before our drinks and appetizers just to be sure we get what we came for. He didn't know. Then after going through the "waiter check list"; drinks, appetizers, entrees, he tells us we almost didn't get Ribs because there were some many orders before ours, we got the last ones left. Asked if wings were whole or pieces. He said they're large wings. We ordered and got wings in pieces. It was our first time there. Now we know what to expect and who to avoid.

Great beer selection, awesome atmosphere, friendly service, and the food... Man, I find a new favorite on the menu every time I go. Current favorite are the hot wings. So much flavor, just the right kick. Definitely worth checking out for BBQ done right.
