Horrible service isn't even the word. Waiters are very inattentive, in a rush and I guess if you're not a known customer, they just don't care. My experience here on a Saturday night was so bad that in just the first ten minutes of arriving, I was ready to leave. Despite my readiness to exit, I stayed and that was ONLY due to the guest in which I came with. As a lover of food and of course a lover of Italian food, but I would NOT suggest this restaurant to anyone that wants good service and an enjoyable time. Food was easily a 5/10. It took 20 minutes to have someone come to our table and another 20 minutes just to bring bread to the table. Our waiter did not ask if we wanted dessert. We ordered a bottle of wine and it wasn’t until 30 minutes later that one waiter finally realized we didn’t get our wine and delivered it to us. The staff is incredibly rude. With NYC being a short distance away, don't waste your time and money dining at this restaurant. Read their YELP reviews, this is not a friendly place.

Although the food was decent, the service here was very terrible. I don't know if they only like to cater to a certain clientele (if you know what I mean) or the service here is just always bad. I came here on a Saturday night with my fiancé and she was less than pleased when we waited so long after being seated to even be acknowledged. We also ordered wine and that took about 20 minutes to come to the table. Not once were we asked if we needed anything// no one came to make sure that we were okay. When we were done with the food, not one server asked if we would like dessert. I've had my fair share of Italian cuisines and this place did not do it for me. Def will not be coming back to this place.

The waiter was very rude to us, he served us a wine in poor condition when we asked him to try it and he got upset when we told him to give us another bottle. The chef did not want to prepare seafood and they wanted to charge us double if they did. We were treated badly because they are racists since my partner is black. I will never return to that restaurant again. very bad service.

Top quality food, using only the best in ingredients . Roberto''s is fine dining with very friendly prices. This is not a ordinary Italian restaurant but extraordinary . Give it a try!

Great overall NJ Italian restaurant experience. Fresh ingredients, big menu, big portions, great service, great food, great atmosphere. Nice wines, reasonable prices. The unpretentious place to spot & meet up with NJ & NY power brokers.
