Kind of sad to update this 5-star post I wrote 2 years ago to a 3, because we really used to love this place. Came for my birthday last year and had to send two dishes back, an undercooked steak and a fish dish was off. Whatever, it happens. Today on my girlfriend's birthday she got another undercooked steak. Another dish was wrong but our family member ate it anyway. Also sad to say that the stale bread comments are true. They must put the uneaten rolls on the next table because one of them was rock hard. Another thing we used to love here was the great service which was something really special that set this restaurant apart, but that is inconsistent now. The hostess was rude; we were introducing family members to one another in the lobby when she engaged us to ask for our reservation. Even though we intentionally didn't go inside yet, as to not bother the staff since we weren't ready, I guess we took too long because she went inside without us and just left the menus on the table for us to assume which table to sit at. Waiters were not attentive as we were used to the 5+ times we visited in the past. They didn't bring any olives like they usually do. I want to come back and give it another chance because we used to love it but I'm not sure. Stick to the steak on the stone so you can ensure your steak is cooked properly.

This is Good food at it's best with the customer service to match. You can smell the greatness as you order your food to go. My experience here cause me to commit one of the 7 Deadly Sins, that of "Gluttony" Yes tonight I am guilty of Gluttony but " I don't even care!" I will definitely go back in the future to try other things from the menu, as well as enjoy the dinning experience in their main restaurant. But I will try to refrain from eating so much, but the food was really delicious and fairly priced, for under $30, I got Fried Red Snapper with 2 sides, a small Garlic Shrimp with 1 side & Cod Fish, not to mention huge portions. You really must try this place if in the area.

Valenca Restaurant has great food and awesome service. Their food is amazing and their Red Sangria is one of the best I have tried!! I took my Mother here and we had a great time!! I saw Families and couples enjoying themselves and eating great food. The place is not cheap but great food never is!! The prices of the meals are worth every penny they ask for, that's how good their food is!! The place is not quiet, it's very vivid and loud, lots of Life is here and that's how the Portuguese are, LOUD AND PROUD!! I will be coming back to this place, I like it!!

I love the food here. It is always busy but they somehow always manage to take care of everyone with a good face... I love the space upstairs, the bar in the first floor, it is always good to visit at the bar and see a few familiar faces all the time. The pick up area is fast and acurate. Cons: parking is horrible most of the time.

We were at an airport hotel going out the next day and resigned to eating at the overpriced and dull hotel restaurant. A Google maps search found the Valencia, a hidden gem, a short drive away (even a walk in good weather). Why eat at a hotel restaurant when you can eat at the Valencia? The neighborhood is safe and neat, and there’s plenty of free parking. The place is lively and full of locals. The food is quite good and the portions generous - almost too generous in the case of the vegetable paella. We’ll go there again; we might even get off the turnpike or parkway on one of our drives south (several every year).
