My first visit to this new restaurant and my lamb chops were the best I have had in recent memory... prime and cooked perfectly. The decor is a relaxed elegance and tables are roomy. Wait staff was very attentive. Mr. Vitale has created a wonderful dining experience...hooray for NJ!

First time here with friends who live in Westwood and have been here several times. They were treated like royalty! They know the staff, the owners, the wait staff, the Chefs. It seemed like that with 50% of the crowd. Really nice place, great food. Pricey but worth it. BYOB is a plus, keeps the bill down so spending the extra on the food seems fine. Their pride is the Meat Locker with wonderfully aged beef. They have partnerships with local growers as well as growers up in Sussex County. Everything was great. Give them a try! Good luck getting a table on the weekend. Call ahead.............like weeks...........and make a reservation.

A gem of a restaurant with an open kitchen and modern ambiance, excellent pasta with a light taste, fine service, and good sound quality so that conversation is easy. Highly recommend.

As usual the food is exceptional. Appetizers, pasta and main course are all great. Can't be disappointed when you order the Veal Anello. Top off the evening with a huge slice of Strawberry Shortcake. WOW.

VERY DISAPPOINTING! Local Westwood family that frequented the old Caffe Anello will not be going back to new place. The new location lacks intimacy, charm and most importantly SERVICE. We were asked to choose our appetizers one month prior to our reservation. Our waiter, Tim was rude, frazzled and insulting to my family. The owners/family did work the tables but understaffed kitchen and wait staff caused a long wait for entrees. Halibut special was dry and short rib cold. Rushed out 30 minutes prior to next seating. We were not offered coffee with our desserts which Tim packed to go.Way too many options in Westwood to be treated this way.
