Found this little place by chance and was very impressed. It's a shame we live so far away and will probably never make it back. Service and presentation was lovely, food was fresh and delicious and it was fun to try foods we don't normally eat like kale and sunflower taco meat. Highly recommend!

This is a Chan's dream. Decent prices feels homey and not pretentious. Food is great so your carnivore friends will not complain. One if the best places I've eaten at.

For a restaurant whose name is about plants, I was very disappointed to find so few fresh vegetables in every dish I've tried, except for the salads. The sandwiches and toasts came with practically no fresh vegetables and the avocado was flavorless. Being in NJ, they could at least add a nice thick slice of fresh tomato, or cucumber...anything would have helped. No one in our party liked the gluten free bread which lacked flavor and density. It's great that they offer gluten-free but couldn't they also offer a nice hearty sourdough for their toasts? I just could not believe they charge $8-$10 for a single slice of bread with a crumble of vegetables on it. We did order sides of kimchi and sauerkraut and they were the best things we ate. Perhaps we just ordered wrong but I cannot recommend their toasts or sandwiches if you want a healthy, hearty lunch. The side salad of greens that we got was covered in oil and was not very good either. We left hungry.
