Classy atmosphere! Upscale yet casual. Fantastic food....the seafood is superb and the desserts, mostly made in-house, is totally decadent. The owners, Peter and his wife, are as charming and couldn't be nicer to their patrons. I have NEVER had a disappointing evening at Oceano. Totally thumbs up!

I'm starting to say everything was excellent from food to service and reservation. We definitely ordered too many appetizer. The octopus was delicious. All the food comes with bread olive oil and olives to pick. The calamari nicely breaded. The crispy zucchini and eggplants we ordered were good with a yogurt deep. The entrees we got were fish. The sword fish perfect light and simple, i was so enjoying it I forgot to take a picture. We really enjoy the night the only advise to the staff is adding more white wines on the list

Lovely service! It feels like fine dining - right in your backyard!

Very nice venue with lovely atmosphere Friday/Saturday night. Gets a bit crowded and tight with seating. Service is ok, visited one time and found that appetizers took about 45 minutes to arrive at our table. A tad pricey for the experience we had.

Not good! Service, the only person who smiled the entire time we were there was the host himself, an elder man. Most did not make eye contact, including the waiter. Food was overpriced and the taste was less than good. Appetizers we had were calamari which did not taste homemade and was heavily breaded, octopus was good but lacked the acidity and char I was looking for, the beet arugula salad was very good. Entrees, my fish, which was a pink snapper special, looked like grey matter covered in sauce. I ate the asparagus and the Lemon potato (which were good) and left most of the fish on the plate. My husband had the stuffed shrimp, the portion was 3 medium sized, crab cake mixture (bread!) Stuffed shrimp. This dish was also disappointing for what I believe was $36. My son hand the pork tenderloin which was a fair portion, but was just ok or "standard" in taste, nothing special. We decided not to stay for dessert. There are better greek seafood restaurants in Bergen county, that look like holes in the wall, with no table cloths, but the food, authenticity price and service are second to none. We will not be returning to Oceanos.
