This is one of my favorite restaurants for the food only. I've never been here where family and friends have been disappointed with a meal. The place is a bit dated, but if it helps keep food prices affordable, I'm perfectly fine with the restaurant staying the same as it was 30 years ago. The best roast beef sandwiches Bergen County has to offer. Great burgers, steaks, fish and lobster bisque soup (which is so tasty, they have been known to run out). Great for family or special occasion parties, I've never had to wait for a table more than 5 minutes. It's family-owned and operated and they are lovely people.

I'm rounding up but I'd call it 3.5 stars if I could. Cool spot, it IS a little on the expensive side for a local no frills restaurant. For a bar it's 5 star, for a restaurant it's a 3....the dining room is really quiet while the howling and laughing and music from the bar echoes through the dining room, so I'd definitely grab a seat by the bar if you can. As for the food, it's fantastic. The steaks and seafood are really great. The appetizers are large and satisfying.

This place has withstood the test of time! And for a good reason! I've been coming here for at least two decades, and their dishes have always been delicious, and several of them have even have gotten better, which is a practice that MOST restaurants never bother to do! You won't be disappointed here. You will enjoy your dish! And order yourself a drink to accompany it! In my opinion, their chicken fingers are the best I've tasted in my lifetime... (Why this place doesn't have 5 stars, is beyond me?!)

We’ve gone to your restaurant many times for lunch and dinners. Always very satisfied with food, service, and cozy atmosphere. However, we had Easter dinner (late sitting) this Sunday past. The usually fine quality food was mediocre at best this time. Meats were a bit dry, and wanting flavor, as if it was sitting for too long in warmers. Drinks were excellent, and the service was fine. The kicker was that the nice young lady serving us informed me the gratuity of 18% was included in my bill. That to me is unacceptable. I will decide the quality of service, and the amount server deserves. I was going to give her 20%, so your Easter policy costed her. Unless I’m contacted regarding this matter I will not be returning.

A local historic Irish Watering Hole that is been there for over 50 years plus. Great menu selection that will satisfy anybody's appetite. we had the sauteed mussels in white wine and garlic sauteed broccoli rabe with homemade Italian sausage can't be beat. And if you're into Burgers I've got to tell you one of the best burgers I have ever had serve with homemade hand cut french fries. Homemade desserts the apple crisp was absolutely out of this world. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody looking to have a good meal and a great time.
