Good food but a little overpriced. Nice view from the terrace on the Skyline. Outside, all the tables are shaky. We were extremely disappointed with the service though. We had to wait more than 1 hour to get a plate of cold bites to share to start! Meanwhile, the people dining at the next table and who had arrived after us had had received their 1st and 2nd course... The waitress was just helpless, kind but would only tell us that the kitchen was busy that night. The timing was of for everything... And, the bill already included a 20% tip (we were only 2 people dining). Go for the food and the view, and keep your fingers crossed to be lucky with the rest.

A great place for brunch, we ordered the prefix brunch and it was delicious. The brunch comes with bottomless Mimosa for 2-hours. The view of NYC was magnificent to see while you are enjoying your meal, and the weather was gorgeous. Halifax is inside the W hotel, they offer valet parking for $5.00 (2-hours) enough time to enjoy your meal, the view and the company of your friends. Summer or Spring is probably the best time to go to Halifax....enjoy!

I was an employee for this restaurant for 5 and a half years. I was happy to be a part of this place. I met the mother of my child there. I did it all for that place. But to keep to the point. I was a distressed employee there for a year. We had a chef who would sexually harass co workers. This chef decided to sexually harass a manager in her office.. which was caught by another manager.. a few reports was made but nothing really happened. This chef was 50 something years old. So this chef decided to sexually harass a co worker of mine, which was in her mid 20's. She had told one of recently promoted chefs. The matter was brought to the attention of chef of cuisine. For three weeks he did not tell his boss, the head chef. so when I learned of this. I was so outraged. I pulled the head chef upstairs to a little room where they do payroll. And I asked him.. Do you about this matter. He told me no. So for three weeks this chef decided not to say a word and this sexually harassment. This all happened this last holiday season. I thought the head chef was doing to right thing and investigating the matter. But he tryed to use the information to his benefit, and fire the chef after the holiday season was over. Some how the matter was brought to the H.R of the hotel. This person terminated the chef on the spot. Big up to you H.R for being the only one to do the right thing. You have all my respect. My name is Frank Garcia and I put my name out here so people so for those who read this, know I am telling the truth. In my eyes if this was a court of law the chefs would of been accessory after the fact. For those who read this the choice is yours. But after reading this if you decide to spend a penny in that place, shame on you for allowing and supporting this chefs/men. And to answer your first thought. I have a child to feed. And a father must do what ever it take to feed and care for there child. But thank you god for freeing me from that place.and I thank you for taking the time to read this. Lord know what I wrote here today is the truth. So again people it's your choice.. hope you choose well. I only put one star so I can post this, so people can know. But they get nothing from me..

*Happy Hour review* I had been craving oysters for a while, so when my BF found out they have $1 oysters during happy hour, we decided to stop in one Wednesday, just before 6. Happy hour is from 4-7 and there are some apps on special, as well as $5 house wines and draft beer, and a $7 'seasonal cocktail'. We went with 20 of their oysters, and 6 of their deviled eggs ($1 each during HH). The oysters were sizable, and the mignonette it came with was nice. Some of my oysters had bits of shell in them but it wasn't too bad overall (BF said most of his had bits of shell so I guess he was a bit unlucky). The deviled eggs were perfect. Each came with a sliver of fried garlic, which added a lot of flavor. I'm not sure if I would come back for regular food, as nothing really stood out to me. But I'll definitely be back the next time I need some dollar oysters. There don't seem to be a lot of those places in Hoboken.
