The food was really good. The service was excellent. I saw a few reviews where people complained about the service but that was not our experience. I thought the pacing of the meal was prefect. We ordered soup, apps, entree, and dessert. We waited probably 5-10 minutes between courses and our drinks were never empty. That allowed us to dine and talk without ever feeling rushed. All the food we had was excellent so I won't list it. It's on the expensive side but a good steak house usually is. There's a huge difference between a steak that came from a restaurant supply and one that's dry aged in house. It costs the restaurant money to age them and they need to pass that cost on to the customer. There is a payoff in flavor that is undeniable. We will return.

Good food served in a timely fashion. Nick was a gracious host accommodating our group of 8. A few bumps in the road occurred with our order which were quickly and generously remedied. Would recommend to friends and colleagues.

If you want to be treated like a king/queen look no further. My wife and I had traveled into town to spend our anniversary in New York City. We got in late so we looked for somewhere local. I called up Sear House Grill and asked if I needed a reservation, The manager Nick said come on in and ask for him. When I arrived with my wife we were greeted by a very kind valet and a warm handshake by Nick. Nick and the staff were sensitive to the situation and gave us a private dining experience, even though it was very busy. The atmosphere in the room is elegant, not much of a view but the seating is very intimate with beautiful glass walls with wine on display. The staff is wonderfully attentive and had great balance. Meaning, they didn’t stand around and joke for long periods of time but I never had to refill my drink either. Literally perfect service. We ordered the Tomahawk steak And lobster mac & cheese. The steak, did not list how many ounces it was on the menu I asked the waitress how many ounces and she was quick to reply the correct answer. Impressive. The food was excellent great cuts of beef, tender, and a perfect Sear. We left for happy to pay our bill and left with another handshake from Nick. Way to save the day Sear house grill! It is nice to know that there are still great New York style steak houses that know how to give people treatment.

This is the most excellent steakhouse I have ever been to. I got the Porterhouse steak. It was so succulent and pure. It was also the biggest steak I have ever seen at a whopping 48 ounces. It was cooked to perfection. Fantastic food. As we were leaving, Nick, the restaurant manager asked how our experience was. Definitely 5 stars. He then proceeded to get us a drink. My girlfriend and I felt very welcomed, and extremely comfortable. Best Valentine's Day ever. Do not hesitate in choosing this restaurant as your next outing.
