We happened upon this place and there was no wait to be seated. Asked to be near the window but the hostess, while acknowledging what I said, pretty much ignored it. The table was in the balcony area and we could see out the window from a distance. Waited nearly half an hour for our wine to come, restaurant not even crowded. Asked about it multiple times but it was always "the bar is backed up". I'd hate to see them on a busy night. Waiter running around frazzled the whole evening and they had plenty of wait staff; maybe he is just not good for the job. He kept apologizing (which became extremely annoying) "All I can do is say sorry". Food was OK - overpriced for tourists I suppose. Won't go there again.

You have to really try to make this a bad experience for your patrons. Beautiful setting, famous food was overshadowed by a horrible karaoke bar singer, a cocktail that tasted like disinfectant, red wine that was served chilled, food that was average at best, and a server that didn't even ask if we wanted coffee but presented us with the check. Disappointed all around.

The Lamberti's are one of the the most traditional families and have been in Atlantic City's history. Grand-Mama's old recipes are still there, and they're still the best
