No question that Steve & Cookies is the best restaurant in the tri-state area period. Not only do they have the greatest food, but there service and hospitality is second to none. This place is a first class act and Cookie is a the best. You can't get a bad meal here ever - it's ALWAYS perfect. I have been going here for about 30 years maybe twice a year and will continue for many, many years to come.

Excellent cuisine! Excellent ambiance! Excellent service - "Thank you Tito!" A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

While the food was alright it wasn't impressive. Nice place and nice atmosphere but it didn't live up to the reviews. I am a lover of crab cakes and they were alright. Nothing amazing. The bronzino was actually quite good. Still not amazing. The lobster mac and cheese I would go back for in a heartbeat. That was AMAZING!!! Very small not really for sharing. It is a nice date spot though. I would go back but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

Everything was perfect, from the wine to the salad and entree. The service was outstanding without any 'up selling' just good, honest recommendations. Our new favorite shore restaurant.

The service was great! But, the food was very, very, and very unimpressive. We ordered lobster Mac and cheese and a strip steak. There were large bones in our Mac and cheese. While the texture of the creamy sauce was pleasant,(not too thick and not too runny,) the dish had no flavor at all. Mac and cheese was extremely bland to the point that I decided against eating it because I felt like I was wasting calories on eating food that tasted like filtered water. The steak was extremely fatty and not juicy at all. Again, this dish was very bland as well. The French fries were mushy, but they had a taste...of burned fries! One of our friends ordered chicken, and I got to try it-chicken was flavorless. I make better chicken at home! Upon inspection, the chicken wasn’t cooked through. I walked out of this restaurant pretty hungry, lol. The reason why I gave it 3 stars was because the dessert (brownie) and the cappuccino were very good! Overall 3 stars because: the service was 5 stars; main meal and appetizers were 1 Star; Dessert and coffee were 4.5 stars; $$$$ for the quality of the food was 2 stars.
