The food has been amazing since the day they opened their doors. Their staff is second to none. It's really an amazing thing when you can walk into a restaurant and feel like you're immediately a part of the family. Their Pizza is the absolute best in New Jersey. Ferraro's Amboy Avenue is the best, hands down.

Just stepped out a few minutes ago due to a horrible experience. Been going here since 2010 and thought food was great, tonight was different. I ordered penne vodka and when it came out the kitchen it barely looked like penne vodka, worse it tasted like penne with sweet super thin sauce. Had it changed and the 2nd time it tasted like vodka, chef didnt even take time to cook it, went out the kitchen 5 minutes after. Also our fat waitress was being rude and sarcastic making comment likes "oh next time ill tell the chef you dont like vodka", like seriously? Wouldnt shut up either, kept making more comments telling me if i wanted to get drunk Ferraros is the place to go! Ive tried many penne vodkas and none of their two servings looked and tasted like penne vodka. Never coming back here!

Great food. We ate here all the time when we lived in the neighborhood 17 years ago. Visited this weekend and the food and service were excellent. The homemade gnocchi is delicious. Try the chicken rollatine and the tortellini Michelangelo. We will be back.
