Getting pricey but still good for beers and seafood, clams, king crabs or lobsters, today up to 8lbs. Hamburgers and steak are okay but stick with the seafood. Interesting decor if your a carnivore, but that's all. Every game seems to be on but you can't hear any of them. Good place but the prices will limit my attendance.

This is a very popular pub/ restaurant. I absolutely love this place. Don't expect anything fancy. Do expect awesome seafood like clams, lobster, snow crab and king crab legs. Of course they also offer your regular pub menu. Beware! There are many dead stuffed animals being displayed throughout the establishment. I happen to love it even though I am not a hunter so if you feel this will offend your sensibilities maybe it's best if you dine elsewhere. The wait staff is great, they are very attentive and the food comes out quickly. Also, this is a cash only restaurant. They do sell alcohol but don't expect trendy drinks. All in all, this is a great understated restaurant that locals and people throughout the state come to try. I highly recommed it.

Great place. Kind of far from where I am, but my wife and I don't mind the drive. The clams are awesome! and my wife loves their crab legs. If you want to go eat at a place that's quiet and a good distance from the bustling city streets, this is the place to go! + their food is awesome and prices aren't too crazy! Thumbs Up!

Great food, especially the seafood!!! The owner, George, owns a wholesale seafood company so the price is right!!! Nice size bar with lots of televisions to watch sports. No lingering for coffee and dessert here though, they serve your meal and drop the check. And that's ok because the food and service are good!

No lobster the day I went but even if there was any it still wouldn't be worth going to pub 199. Prices have gone up, still cash only, still force you to buy a drink, and all of the other seafood besides the lobster and clams taste like they have been sitting in the freezer for a long time. Might as well save your cash and go to a supermarket and buy some lobsters and melt some better and you'll have a better deal with better quality. I had the burger when I went and it was terrible. Dry and overcooked. Flavorless. Basically eat anywhere else. Service was okay.
