This is in ref. To Patty (prior review) . Patty your an idiot plain and simple ...if you feel you could go into an eatery and not tip with a group of demanding girls (actually any size party even a party of 1) then you are ludicrous and should pack peanut butter and jelly for your budgeted group. You do the budget so it’s your fault if you didn’t have enough money not the waitress . I’m a local and would only eat there on the boardwalk and have many times . Everyone from The wait staff ..the owners..the cooks when I’m in there (that’s a lot of diff times ) they have all been running their butts off non-stop and constantly take turns asking if everything is ok? Morale of the story either budget better to include a mandatory tip or pack a lunch and you serve your group tipless .. Denise

I don't believe that people would leave a one star review for a diner that celebrates (keeps alive) the Route 66 name. There's NOT ONE diner in this country that can serve up a five star meal 24/7 as it's impossible to do so. So much work, time and effort go into this business that those who leave one star reviews are not only in need of a mental health check but need to get a life. Wildwood NJ Route 66 gets five stars for being there and staying open. That's the spirit of Route 66 and Americana ;-)

Great atmosphere, reasonable prices. Didn't have everything on the menu, though and was disappointed, but the food we had was good.
