This is a place I would definitely visit again, however I’m holding off on a better rating and rave reviews until I revisit, here is why: Before the okay, here is the great part; However, this shinning star of the place was “The Reef Mariscada” I will go back JUST FOR THIS DISH!! 😍 for $26 it has a massive amount of seafood, the rice was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was very flavorful- although it was pitched to me as spicy and I could have used more heat. And now for the slight letdowns; 1) when you enter there is no sign saying to “seat yourself” so you stand around awkwardly until the host greets you 2) while my waiter was prompt, polite, and GREAT at explaining the dishes, he never once came to ask how anything came out nor touch up my water glass. 3) the “peach Melba” desert was disappointing. I’d give it another go during prime season but; there was little raspberry sauce, the ice cream had ice chunks, and the peaches tasted clearly canned, or in a preservative sauce for quite some time. 4) it’s also disappointing that such a gorgeous view of the water can’t be displayed via outside seating. But I do appreciate the view nonetheless! All in all it was a pleasurable experience, and one I would go for again but I’m unsure if it’s “rave about” just yet.

Great place. Great location! Food was amazing. Drink specials! Happy hour as well. Calamari was cooked perfectly. Shrimp was perfect. We really enjoyed. Owner was very friendly.

Went for dinner on a Saturday night while there was an event going on at the bar. After having to squeeze through the crowd and getting dirty looks to get to our table we then had to find a seat that didn't have the AC blasting on us. After finding said table I discovered a dead fly on what should have been a clean table. The rest of the evening was decent. Our server was friendly and the food was good, not great but good. At the end we paid the bill and left. We discovered the next morning that we were over charged by about $100 (yes we should have looked at the bill before we left). We got in touch with the owner, Ricardo, the next day when they reopened, we couldn't go there because we're 2 hours away. Ricardo told us he would speak to the server after expressing his dissatisfaction with her, stating she's new, and get back to us. After 2-3 days and not getting a response we called again. Ricardo insisted that we ordered more liquor than we actually did stating he was the bartender that night and he knows what he gave us. We were charged for an extra bottle of wine that we did not have because they were out of it and charged for an extra round of drinks. Bottom line is if you go here make sure you check your bill! Apparently they don't care that people are being scammed and will not fix the issue if there is a problem.

A simple but cosy dining room with a window on the Hudson river at the end. The cod fried croquettes are nice and not too salty. The branzino is very simply grilled, fresh and come with fresh delicious sauted vegetables. The flan is velvety and rich. A nice no thrills place where you feel home and the prices make sense.

Extremely friendly and warm environment with a good mix of Portuguese and American seafood options. Paella is outstanding as well as the Carne de porco alentjana. Went on a weekend, was back 2 days later because we were craving it. Will be back again soon!
