Very nice place. Awesome ravioli and home made pasta. Friendly staff, very accommodating. Great appetizers, try their specials.

We love this place and have eaten here many times. The menu is always amazing and it's family run.

N.Y. old review is below, but it went way downhill... First time I went, it was amazing..this visit it was not. The waiter was awesome!!! So was the octopus, but the snapper was horrible, rubbery, way too salty ( and I didn't know that was possible for me), mashed potatoes were sticky and thick..honestly the dish tasted like it was prepared 2 days ago. The pumpkin ravioli were good, but there were 6 tiny square ones. Anyway, there was someone that took the not eaten food.(not our waiter) and he shrugged when I said the dish was not good..no one asked, so I paid the bill and we left. I will not be back sadly. Very disappointing Italian? Best food ,by far ,bar none !! The owner actually stayed with us and fed the baby, while her son kept us hysterical! We got here at 6 ,by 6:30 the entire restaurant is packed! And with good reason, old school ideals, old school recipes. Can't beat it! there's a parking lot right next door so don't let that stop you from coming to Ridgewood just to have awesome food at this restaurant

Every time I've eaten at Pearl, I've had an incredible meal. The mussel appetizer is our favorite. We also split a delicious salad and each got a great main course. Tonight I had the 16 oz pork chop and finished every la.st bite. Service is also very good. I wish the restaurant was a bit busier; I would hate for it to close for lack of business. It is definitely a "pearl" in a village of great restaurants. BYOB is a plus.
