It was my first time dining at Cesca past Saturday evening. And i got to say that this place is great. Food is amazing. Check out their pasta dishes cause they are to die for. Although i had a bad day and was giving my attitude to a wonderful server i ended up leaving extremely happy. I think her name was Kate or Katherine. She had so much on her hands but her intelligence and work manner made my day turn around. Definitely go there if you are in the area , it is so worth it.

I didn't get the chance to eat here and I will never even consider it. A Me and a friend of mine had an interview there today @ 3:30. Both of us are women of color. (That's relevant to this review) As we walk up to the door, you would think the hostess would greet us warmly and welcome us into the establishment and then ask us what she could help us with. BUT.. No. Before we opened the second door, she stood a couple feet away from the door with a look of confusion on her face... as if we weren't supposed to be there.. or like we were lost. Lol.. Upon going through the main entrance to the restaurant, we pleasantly greet her, and she responds with "What are you here for?". That really threw us off..simply because.. we were there for the interview, why else would be there before opening? They host interviews between 3:30 - 5:00 PM. Once we tell her we were here for the interview, she tells us to have a seat while she gets the manager. Not even 5 minutes later, she comes back and tell us the manager is busy in a meeting and can't step away to INTERVIEW us, so she would take our resumes and gives a call later. Long story short. There was NO real interview. She didn't even ask us our names. Nor did she tell us hers. She had no interest from the get go, and the moment she saw us, she judged us, along with the manager and everyone else in the establishment. You would think the manager would take time out of his busy interview.. and INTRODUCE HIMSELF AND GREET US. Nope. Horrible hospitality.. upscale my ass. There was no upscale behavior or attitude in that establishment. All I felt was disgust and indifference.

It's a great treat to have such a fine Italian restaurant, so close to home. This is a high-end establishment, with a fantastic menu. I am a carnivore, and I definitely recommend the Steak Tagliata. The pastas are fantastic, as well. Prepared with great care and attention to detail. The decor is simple with a bright motif, yet the space always feels warm and lively. What really sets this restaurant apart, are the people. The wait-staff is knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. I especially enjoy sitting at Yelena's table, as she has a wonderful personality (she's cute too). Also, I must mention the bar staff, who are fun, friendly and skilled cocktail artists. The bartender Lazarus deserves a special mention for his ability to keep things fun. You'll find a diverse group of patrons here, from young families, there to dine, to older couples from the neighborhood, enjoying the friendly bar scene.

Friendly, elegant country Italian restaurant. Limited but well prepared menu. Popular happy hour and brunch. Reservations advised.

Ambiance was great but I have have had better Italian food. My Mom really enjoyed her food & so that is all that matters.
