Slow food, made to order hamburger. Very greasy. Fresh cut French fries. Dark interior, classic wood floors. Dark windowless room. Attentive wait staff.

I love this place, we stop whenever we go through San Antonio. Great burgers & fries. I can see why it's always busy.... Because it's yummy 😊

The food was very fresh and really delicious and the staff welcomes you super friendly. But why is the food served on plastic plates? So much waste! Please stop littering our future!

You're not expecting a lot of dining choices in a small town like San Antonio or Socorro, but imagine our surprise when we found out the local burger tavern is featured as one of the top 20 in the country and was featured on the Food Network's throwdown with Bobby Flay. Upon entering, we were greeted by the owner himself who was jovial and friendly. The bar is strewn with uniform patches from emergency and military service who have dined there. The fries instantly brought me back to my childhood of home cut fries fresh from the kitchen, and the Buckhorn Chili Cheeseburger is requisite fare, quintessentially New Mexican, and there's probably not a better atmosphere to be wolfing one down!

Some of the BEST around. Really worth the drive. The owner actually won a cook off with Bobby Flay! If you like green chili, get their signature burger.
