Highly recommend !!!!! Carolyn catered my Twins graduation party . My guest raved about the fried chicken , mac N cheese , collard greens and cornbread. Simply the BEST soul food ever ! And Carolyn called the next day to thank us and get our feedback . What a lovely woman who cooks with the best ingredient ... L-O-V-E ❤️

2 plates more than 20 bucks? No thanks. Had a Groupon worth 20 dollars and still had to pay another dollar and change! Fried chicken and 2 sides. 2 plates. No cornbread (unavailable). No drinks. 21 dollars and change. That's KFC Family bucket prices! Tasty tho.

I live in the area and noticed this spot a couple weeks ago. I love soul food and obviously had to try it. I can't say I was overjoyed with my experience however. The staff wasn't exactly too friendly; greetings were nonexistent and it felt like communicating was a chore. Was really hoping to try the oxtail but they didn't have any (either they were sold out or they don't carry it anymore, couldn't tell, like I said communicating was apparently a chore) and settled for the fried chicken instead with mac'n cheese and the veggies. Thankfully the food somewhat made up for the awkward interaction. Generous servings in the small dish. The chicken was well seasoned and tasty but didn't have that loveable crunch because it had been sitting in the oven for some time. The mac'n cheese was easily the best part of my experience. Super tasty with nice creamy cheese and big elbows. I can't say Caorlyn's Cuisine will be at the top of my list the next time I'm craving soul food but I may revisit to try the oxtail.
