Great place to sit and enjoy great food with a glass of wine.

This is really really good food! My mom has celiac and needs gluten free. The waitress went out of her way to give my mom a many options. Thank you!

Stepping into L'ultimo's you'll find a half bar, half restaurant type establishment. On our visit, the restaurant was busy but not crowded. The Mayor of Amsterdam was also there, he had taken a seat at the bar. I called him Mr. Impatient as he drove like a jerk, and tried to push past us as we pulled into the parking lot earlier. Foolish politicians aside, the restaurant wasn't all that bad. The seating was tortuous however, sitting on solid concrete would have been more comfortable then the chairs provided. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful, and attentive to our drinks. However there are no free refills here, and upon receiving the check we were bothered to find that each refill cost us; as we hadn't been informed there were no free refills. The food was delicious, and the serving sizes were excellent! The menu is pretty much Italian dishes, but what is there is diverse enough. Prices were reasonable, but not cheap. The atmosphere in the restaurant is loud, making it hard to hear anything. Even with the tables as small as they were, we still had trouble conversing in-between eating. Overall, it was an alright place but I wouldn't care to go back if I had to endure those seats again.
