Love this place great food. Pricey but good.

This is the first time I've ever given a restaurant a bad review. The restaurant smelled of mold/ mildew as soon as we walked in. It was almost empty on a Saturday night, which made me wary but we wanted to give this place a try since we'd never been before. I ordered the eggplant parm and it was disgusting. It was overcooked and very soggy. A pool of grease covered the bottom of the dish. The kids' pizza was frozen, not homemade, which is disconcerting, considering it's an Italian restaurant. The spaghetti was also overcooked, although the sauce was good. When I told the waitress that the eggplant parm was unacceptable, she did not apologize or even ask if I'd like something else to eat. Instead, she walked off in a huff. The prices were also too high considering the quality of the establishment.

TERRIBLE SERVICE, tosha cuts you off when ordering, Saturday night and they have no heniken beer or labatt, no cocktail sauce for shrimp after order was already placed. Never brought salad or refill on wine when I asked. This place has been inconsistent for too long...only 2 tables in restaurant at 7:30pm could be a red flag

It may not look like much from the outside but, inside is very nice and the food is outstanding and the price is right for such great food !

Normally, the dishes are well done at Commando's but last night I ordered the large antipasto plate and it was well below my expectations. It was loaded with pickled peppers and literally had only three small slices of pepperoni. No ham, no salami. I counted four black olives. For $13, it was not an italian antipasto!
