Food is consistently on point, service was quick and made sure we had our orders quick. However I go out for breakfast often. With that in mind the food was good, but not great. The portions I also thought left one wanting. I'd go back. But there are other options as well locally for a better breakfast.

They renovated the inside a little while ago so the decor is very upscale for a diner, with rough long skinny stone tiles, gas fireplaces, a very nice checkout counter, and fresh flowers when you walk in. The food portions are large like you would expect. The options they serve are pretty typical for a diner type place - lots of fried food options, salads with a ton of toppings (like chicken fingers!), burgers and appetizer platters and daily specials for dinners. The food is a touch above average for the type of restaurant it is and the decor is way above average for the category, but then again I'd call this more of a diner than a restaurant, just based off my downstate sensibilities. It's near work so we take visitors there for lunch often, which is nice, and I've gone when I'm in the area and hungry and am not sure what I'm in the mood for since they have a little bit of everything. They're a solid place for a lot of people since everyone should find something they like, and the atmosphere is great.

My husband ordered a strip steak from the menu and the server said we only do sirloin steak. My husband stated well it's on your menu and she said I know. Steak was tough. Servers were friendly but good was not great.

The staff works really hard here, and it shows. They have an impressive menu, and everything that I've tried here (I eat here at least twice a month) is delicious. Their prices are good, and their portion sizes are nice and large so you won't go home hungry. Their bathrooms were recently renovated, and are very nice to be in.

Good food and good portion sizes. Nice staff as well.
