The pear poached in red wine with goat cheese salad was quite nice but otherwise, the food is mediocre. Service is friendly but on the slow side. Lots of outdoor seating and great view of the waterways. Rather expensive for what you get.

The Crow's Nest has a great location by the water. Unfortunately when we had dinner it was too cold to eat on their deck and enjoy the surroundings. Inside they have a bar and a dining area that is nice enough. I had the Fisherman's Platter which was a combination of fried shrimp, sea scallops, and haddock. This normally comes with rice but I had mine with sweet potato fries. The main dish was good, but nothing special. The sweet potato fries were nice and crispy, and they had a good flavor. The service was also very attentive. The main downside was that the food was over priced and that it wasn't a great value for what you get.

Terrible experience! We ordered a steak medium rare and it came out well done. Not a problem... except the server took the steak back to the kitchen and then brought it back out. She said the chef said that the lighting in the kitchen is better (than natural lighting, I guess) and suggested that we go into the kitchen to look at the steak. Who does that?!? So we asked for a manager and were told that he was too busy to come out. To busy for our 8 top table, really? Needless to say, it went even more downhill from here.

AWESOME PLACE!!!! My friends and I went here over 4th of July weekend. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. After dinner we were surprised by a little acoustic band they had. We hung out there all night, danced and had a great time. Diane (the owner) is terrific and so friendly. Go here - you will love it too. Oh, and it's most of the seating is outdoors with a great view of Seneca Lake!
