From the moment you walk in you know you are in for something special. With great atmosphere, staff and ownership; you will not be disappointed with the creativity and deliciousness to be found at the food studio.

Excellent ambiance and service. Food was not worth the money at all. It was very surprising to find pasta noodles instead of rice noodles in my Pho, it doesn't make the taste better, and I've never seen this before. At this price point I expected more.

Could be very very good, but too salty to finish my dishes. Friendly staff and nice ambiance.

I want to rate Hudson Food Studio five stars. It's a quaint, chic, super friendly, vaguely Asian eatery that include great veggies in every dish. But sadly most flavors just don't land and I'm not sure "wanting to love it" is "I love it". We started with the Duck Bao, served in an extra large, fluffy mantao with a generous helping of nicely cooked duck, but it was woe-fully under seasoned and didn't taste like much. It needed a sauce with some salt and acid. We also had the greens in ginger and sweet soy. This was served sprinkled generously with sesame seeds and included baby bok choy and kale. It was very enjoyable. Except it ended up being redundant as all the rest of the dishes had similar veg. The mains were sesame-crusted tofu over miso-dressed noodles. The miso flavor was light but good and noodles cooked well, but the tofu had no flavor. The ramen was served with a huge portion of noodles and not enough broth, but it didn't matter because my ramen-loving daughter wouldn't eat it. We eat a lot of ramen in NYC and this didn't hold up. My wife appreciated the generous inclusion of shiitake but it was and put of place flavor. And the sautéed pork belly and noodles was probs kg our favorite. Very tender, shredded pork belly with peppers and ramen noodles covered in fresh pea shoots. I would eat that again for sure. Finally we had the Island drink, which was way too tart and had an odd grapefruit-like flavor. We didn't care for it. In the car on the way home, we both debated whether we'd go back. Ultimately we do love the friendly service and the loads of fresh veg. We'll give it another shot.

This is just what Hudson needed! The bao (steamed pork buns) are the best I’ve ever tasted! The ramen is delicious and nourishing (and huge - great for sharing). The cocktails are creative and strong, and the service is friendly! I am a total foodie, living in Austin Texas and I was really impressed by this place! Will definitely be back on my next visit.
