Great social environment with wonderful food and drinks. More of an adult than family spot as the evening progresses, but not raucous or unruly by any means. Wait staff is super friendly and helpful, everything is clean and well tended and it is definitely a place where “everyone knows your name”! Highly recommend.

We went for dinner on Saturday night because some local guy stepping out to have a cigarette practically accosted us to tell us the food was so good. You can't ignore that type of enthusiasm, so we decided to try it. DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I know that some reviews (on another site) have complained about the service, but we experienced only very attentive (almost veering into overly-attentive) service. We each ordered a drink and an order of bacon -wrapped shrimp to start. The bacon wrapped shrimp was the only thing that I wasn't 100% thrilled with. The shrimp were small, and made smaller after being wrapped in bacon and deep-fried. I'd have preferred a larger shrimp and maybe have the preparation be by grilling or roasting, although I'm sure the bacon wouldn't be as crispy. We finished our drinks and shrimp and went on to share a Caesar salad, which was great. For dinner we ordered a Delmonico steak (hubby) and a NY strip (me) and both were prepared perfectly. Each was served with roasted asparagus. We didn't have any room for desert so we took a carrot cake to go, and it was delicious as well. All in all, an excellent dinner, great service and a fun, casual vibe. We'll be back, for sure.

Went here for lunch probably my 3rd time here the service was always slow but this is a new level, the place was almost full and there was only one waitress and one bartender, she was one of the worst waitresses I've ever had. She didn't acknowledge we were there for 15 minutes, then she came and took our drink and meal order. She didn't write it down, which made us nervous. Then sure enough she came back to confirm my coworkers order. 20 minutes later our food(sandwiches and fries or soup) came out and the cook brought it not the waitress. My order was wrong but based on how long it took, I wasn't going to say anything. We ate our drinks were empty and she never refilled them despite her walking by or table multiple times and helping the table next to us. We went without being acknowledged for 20 plus minutes after getting our food. Then we went another 15 minutes after we were done eating before she came and took our plates. another 10 minutes to get our bill. The half of the order I received was good, but not worth the wait. The management seems to need work, only one waitress? Really, Friday at lunch time? With the tourist around? Maybe if we were regulars we would have gotten better service. The waitress must be relying on showing off her bust and good looks to get tips instead of good service.

The food is amazing! Fantastic beer selection. Sometimes it can get busy but that doesn't seem to slow down the staff. The owner is on site frequently and will be quick to reaolve any issues if you happen to find one.

Good service and great food. Wide range of menu options and good local beer selection. Affordable too. Can be noisy on weekends but sometimes the back room is empty and quieter. Have had mixed service.
