I grew up in Johnson City and Red's was always one of those places you could get used to passing without taking notice. Anytime I was there the food was always good and the atmosphere was a throwback to a different era in our village - a joy to experience the nostalgia. Well a few months back I was out with a few friends and we decided to stop in for a burger - nothing inside had changed in the 10 or more years since I had last been inside. I ordered a bacon and mushroom cheeseburger (1/2 pound of beef!) topped with some swiss cheese and onions and it was just about one of the best burgers I have ever put in my mouth. I have been back almost every week since. So next time you drive by Red's - stop in and enjoy a bit of local history and a delicious meal.

Seriously needs updates. I know this has been a neighborhood staple for years, but it really needs a facelift. And all the food is out of packages and cans. But it seems popular with the local "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" crowd...

Why didn't I come here sooner!? Everything was fresh and delicious and great staff, too!

Best burgers anywhere. Great steaks as well. Definitely a local place. Booths could use some updating. And beer could be colder but great place nonetheless
