Omg I LOVE this place. I always get the brisket on sub roll, with the best gravy ever. I love the coleslaw and pickles. My husband and I shared the onion rings and they were DELICIOUS too. I've tasted the corn beef and pastrami when my husband got it and it was so tender and juicy. They have been offering coupons for buy one get one lunch or dinner on certain days and it's a great deal!

Great decor - nice to get good kosher deli without driving to the city. Had the deli double and it came automatically as the lean pastrami and corned beef. Wasn't aware they offered different cuts like another recent review mentions. I chose the challah roll and liked having the option. The matzo ball soup was also DELICIOUS. Our waitress was very kind, too.

Traditional Heimish fare. You'll never leave hungry. And the service is friendly and efficent.

Our dining experience at Zans was one of the worst. I have never in my life heard of serving customers different cuts of Pastrami. We could not even chew the Pastrami with all the fat on it. The fries were hard, dry and burnt. When the waitress returned to ask if we wanted the food wrapped I told her that the Pastrami was not edible, full of fat. Her response was they have different cuts of Pastrami for a dollar additional we could have had LEAN Pastrami, Not (CAN I GET YOU A LEAN PASTRAMI SANDWICH) to replace yours.I asked to speak with the manager who was no help and gave the same poor excuse of the $1.00 more for a better cut. So $60.00 later, never even an apology, This review is to warn potential customers to order lean pastrami or you will have a terrible meal. Bit of information, the only reason we went to Zans was PASTRAMI AND FRIENDS in Commack was closed for a week. If you want the best Pastrami around every time without worrying about a bad cut of meat pay a visit to PASTRAMI AND FRIENDS you will never be disappointed. To the management... Your policy of serving different cuts of meat to your customers is strange. People are paying good money for these sandwiches we should only be severed the best. I hope you consider changing your policy and only serve lean Pastrami in the future to your customers.

Located in a strip mall of stores right off of Nesconsett Highway in Suffolk County. Not very easy to see unless you are looking for it specifically. Walked in by chance. Very friendly and accommodating Staff. Recommend the usual. Cesar Salad, Mushroom Barley Soup, and a Hot Pastrami on Rye Bread. Use the mustard in the table. Typically priced for a Kosher Deli/Restaurant. Comparable to Ben's Deli. Will definitely be going back.
