Lalibela is our favourite Ethiopian joint in Westchester. We drive 15-20 mins to go there but it is worth it. We are vegetarian and their combo is what we get. Place is small but cozy. It can accommodate a group of 8 to 10. Staff is friendly. Other must try are the spice tea and baklava.

I took my family here (wife, parents, brother, brother's gf) for dinner. My wife is gluten free and my brother's gf is vegetarian, so Ethiopian food was a good option. Overall, we enjoyed the meal. The lamb tibs and the vegetarian platter were delicious, as was the avocado tomato salad. We also got the sampler platter, but found that the meats were very spicy, even for our (Indian) tastebuds. If you don't like very spicy food, we highly recommend the tibs instead.

I loved the baklava, it was out of this world. The food is really spicy but good. I loved it.

Loved.. LOVED.... Loved this place!! I had a vegan dish that was phenomenal, tried the Ethiopian wine and it was fabulous, the Ethiopian coffee was smooth and strong, and the Baklava was delicious. Can't wait to go back! The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the cuisine.
