My wife and I was visiting Niagara Falls last month from Spotsylvania, Virginia. One evening, we left our hotel to eat around 7:30 pm, we notice most of the surround restaurants were closing earlier than normal. After a few internet searches, we found a restaurant specializing in pizza called Donatello’s just 2 and half blocks from our hotel Quality Inn near Niagara Falls. Donatello’s is located on a quiet street up hill. Once, we arrived at Donatello’s, we notice it was a small family own restaurant. What a pleasant atmosphere. Once in Donatello’s the owner “Welcome” us with a warm smile and said sit everywhere you want. He said, his name was Donatello. He gives us a menu and told us about his dishes and specializes Pizzas, so I selected one of his pizzas with white cheese, onions, pepperoni and ham. I have living in country of Italy and eaten at some of the best Pizza Restaurants and Donatello’s create a perfect pizza, the crust being not thin or thick has a great taste. All the ingredients placed around the pizza, not just in the center, are baked in oven until perfectly done. Marvelous great Pizza! I can eat one every night. If you visiting Niagara Falls or just want a great pizza go to Donatello’s up the street. Lorenzo J.

Donatello's is within reasonable walking distance from the falls. The food was excellent. We had wings and pizza. Both items were cooked just right. The pizza was especially delicious with plenty of cheese and toppings. The people here were friendly and the wait for food wasn't too bad at all. The pricing was very reasonable, making Donatello's a great value, where you will want to stop every time you are in the area.

I didn't hate it... If I'm being honest however, there is a small window for error in this day and age for signature dishes, especially pizza and here's why: if you don't use premium ingredients you should use less of them. Donatellos chose the opposite strategy and just piled them on to the point of overwhelming the pie. If you choose this route, make sure the crust is completely cooked in order to bear the load...again they chose to take a different path. Over all good flavor, completely lacking in technique.

Had a great experience! Visiting from Pittsburgh and was looking for good pizza and theirs is definitely delicious. I made a mix up on my order and they had it fixed for me no problem. The cashier whom I believe is also the owner is an awesome guy and very friendly. Definitely a place to check out.
