A cool spot to hang out or just for drinks or small plates. Not really a great place if you're very hungry and want a big meal. Has a very nice vibe and the staff is friendly and attentive. The drinks were on the expensive side (my double Jack and coke was $20) but the food, although small, was very tasty and well presented. Try the dip sampler (you get all 6) with some warm pita or the tasty ceviche. All around a pleasant restaurant worthy of a visit.

Great casual spot. Great food with even better service! Drinks were awesome too!

Terrible restaurant. Bland food and extremely overpriced. Went for mother's day brunch. The appetizers we got (which would have been $16 each if not for doing the $38 3 course deal) consisted of 2 scallops (literally 2 for $16...) and dry potato croquettes with a weirdly lemony cheese sauce. The burger I chose as my entree was really bland and the Ffrenc fries accompanying were just as bad. I would not have paid more than $12 for a burger like that but here that would run you $22. Completely ridiculous. Then the dessert.... We all got the warm dark chocolate fondue. None of ours were warm and it came with 2 teeny tiny chocolate biscotti to scoop the chocolate with. The chocolate and biscotti we're okay but the ratio was insanely terrible. There was enough cookie to get through 1/4 of the chocolate (and no there wasn't that much chocolate, the cookies were just that small). We all ended up wasting half our desserts. I'm sure that wouldn't have been the case if we were provided enough stuff to dip into the fondue. Overall this was a terribly experience. The food was not worth the money at all and I would not recommend going here.

Hosted a private event for a corporate dinner. We are from NYC so we are very picky about food and service, since we get the best of the best here.... Food was fresh, delicious and flavorful. I had kale salad and ravioli, plus all the amazing dips with fresh pita and veggies. My team was obsessed with the crab cakes. They also loved the yogurt creme brulee (we are a french brand so we have high standards for creme brulee, I was honestly shocked they loved it so much, since they never compliment creme brulee outside of France!!) Staff was so kind and helpful. Anything I wanted (music, lighting, service speed etc..) they took care of quickly. Drinks were amazing, they have such an impressive cocktail list. I had the berry cosmo and recommended white wine. The vibe is just the right amount of upscale but still laid back, it doesn't feel stuffy, but it's so much more elevated than a lot of places in the area. I could see this as a great spot for a date or meeting up with girlfriends, or having a peaceful meal solo. My team had such an amazing time, and 8 North made the planning and execution stress free for me! I recommend a thousand times, and cannot wait to come back again and again.

The brunch was pretty good, a lot of vegetarian options. The portions were a bit small and a lot of the menu options contained similar ingredients. The blueberry cocktail I had was very tasty and our server was nice.
