I live nearby and I eat here fairly often. Guatemalan food ( black beans). If you like Mexican , you will like this as well, it's not always spicey though. Big portions of really good food at a very reasonable price. Not so busy at theater times since the customers are mostly locals who don't go to shows. Two buildings with two separate entrances. The restaurant side is fairly quiet and the bar side has a pool table used by locals. I usually eat at the bar. Late weekend evenings can get crowded and noisey. They only have a few brands of whiskey, however, the food and the friendly casual atmosphere are worth it for me - I keep coming back. Try the steaks!

Very good food at very good prices. Loved my lomo saltado. It's the most you can ask for a place. Out of all the similar restaurants in the area, La Herradura stands out.

What a wonderful surprise and fabulous meal. Just going through the door youfind yourself south of the border. The food was perfectly spiced for flavor and not reliant on the heat from peppers to be great. The steak I had combined perfectly with the rice, beans, salsa and avacado. Fresh tortilla and best fried plantains I remember. Simple but perfectly selected and combined ingredients. Staff very kind and attentive and only spoke spanish but we all made it work. A lovely mini Mexican/Guatamalan vacation before heading out again into the snow. What a lucky find
