Beautiful establishment, fantastic food and great service. I really appreciated the selection of New York wine and beer. The food is very vegetarian and vegan friendly with options for meat eaters too. Get the spicy tofu, it's great! The wait staff was great and I received two awesome recommendations from our waitress. The outdoor patio section in the back is very nice and quaint, and the perfect setting for a nice summer dinner! Would definitely visit again.

The food here is always phenomenal. Went here for brunch for the first time this past weekend and despite it being insanely busy, every member of the staff was very attentive and considerate. My tofu scramble, toast, and potatoes were outstanding, and my sister's chicken & waffles looked like something out of a food magazine. I love that their menu items are locally sourced and almost all have a cruelty free version. I can't say enough good things about this place. I just wish I'd taken pics of our dishes before we devoured them!

an amazing little place. Impressive menu for meat eaters to vegans. Some of the best food I've had in a long time! I ate vegan and my meat-eating friend did too and he loved it! They've got a cute little outside area and really thoughtful dishes. Would most definitely come back. Weâ€™re visiting from PA but 100% recommend for anyone in the area!!

One of my favorite restaurants in Rochester. I've been to the Owl House a number of times and I love their creative, healthy, but oh so delicious menu. I always leave stuffed and happy. The fried buffalo cauliflower wings are phenomenal. The beer selection is great as well. This past visit our waitress was Krissy, who was awesome. She was a lot of fun and very tolerant of our indecisiveness. The location is in a house centrally located just off Monroe Ave, downtown. There is a beautiful patio in the summer and the inside is bright and welcoming, with local artwork displayed on the walls. The Owl House is a worthwhile visit for vegans and carnivores alike, we will hopefully be back soon.

Favorite upscale vegan-friendly spot to splurge on dinner and brunch with my partner, when we have something to celebrate. Romantic ambience upstairs and outside in the garden patio. Tiny doorways, stairs and halls in this converted home are just part of its charm. Superb food, interesting drinks and excellent service. The Owl House is a true gem in Rochester. (Sometimes there's a wait for a table. Reservations recommended.)
