Large diner-style menu with a good variety of options. Good breakfast-all-day offerings: eggs any way, plenty of omelets and breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, waffles, and other staples. You can get a good burger fixed up fancy, hot and cold sandwiches, cold plates, salads, for right around $5-$7. The seat-yourself atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed. Waitstaff is adequate. We made out with a solid meal for two for less than $20

Long line getting in, but is that a bad thing? No, not at all! It says that the food is great and worth the wait. Not only was the food great, the portions large, but there were many options to choose from and several specials. The service was friendly and fast, especially surprising because of the crowd on Sunday morning. We were never wanting for coffee refills, the wait staff was offering hot fresh coffee every few minutes. The pancakes were delicious, the sausage gravy tasty, eggs were perfectly over medium, and the bacon and shredded hash browns crispy. We Googled best breakfast in Rochester, and Jim's on Main came up. Best choice we could have made and will go there again if we find ourselves in Rochester at breakfast time!

Best diner in Rochester. And I've been to almost all of them. This one is our favorite. About a 15-20 minute wait on Sundays but definitely worth it. Very clean facility, friendly staff and 5 star food.

Best breakfast I've had in Rochester. Fast, inexpensive, and everything is flavorful and cooked perfectly. I got cinnamon french toast, eggs over easy, hash browns, and bacon for under $10. My food was brought out within 5 minutes (I couldn't believe it either) by staff that seemed genuinely friendly and happy (not saccharine). I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

I got a bacon and cheese omelet, it was delicious! I got the meat sauce to go on top of it, glad the server mentioned it, and it was so good. Meat sauce is one of my favorite foods, so it is amazing when local diners nail it. The food came put extremely fast and all of the staff is super friendly. It kinda feels like they’re family with how nice they are. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because it is cash only. Might be my fault for not looking that up beforehand, but the $2.00 fee on the atm kinda sucked.
