What a gem! Hidden in the village area of Rockville Centre you’ll come across this comfort food rockstar. Don’t be fooled by its name, it’s not just chicken, but oh boy do they do things right. The service was great, the location is good, but make sure you prepare to park with a bit of a walk. They have a small bar, great apps, and very filling entrees. It’s great for the youngest and oldest alike. I would recommend this over and over again. Definitely worth a visit! For sure check out the menu and I assure you will be impressed.

Service was really slow, even though the waitress was friendly, the place was nearly empty and she took a long time, taking orders and refilling drinks. The place is beautifully decorated. The food was really good. The chicken was juicy and extremely crispy. Their homemade cheesy tater tots were great. Love their hot honey sauce and maple butter dipping sauce. **Handicap accessibility was decent, not too tight where you feel you're in the way, threshold is a bit too high to get out of the bathroom if you're using a wheelchair. There is free limited time street parking. Handicap parking is in a lot across the street.

Let's start with the staff. Very friendly, stopped by the table many times to clear dishes and check if we needed anything. Started with the fried pickles, cheesy corn, candied bacon and disco tots. All were very good. Tots were not what we expected, but more like hush puppies than tater tots. But good nonetheless. Went for the chicken basket entree. Nicely crispy and chicken was juicy. Coating could use a little oomph though. They were out of a couple of things and oddly we couldn't get plain bacon for a Cobb salad, only candied. Overall, very good.

I'm dying to love this place, I really am. And it's not that the food isn't good, for the most part it is. The chicken is hot (I seriously couldn't bite into it right away), and crispy and juicy on the inside, and the homemade tater tots are a nice touch. And even their burgers are good. BUT, and it's only a slight "but" they either seem afraid to add deeper flavor (almost seems "one note"), or/and spices to their dishes or perhaps I just "expect" a greater depth of flavor that I am not finding. The tater tots (in my opinion), could benefit from some onion or garlic or some other flavor and needs to be crispier (they were a bit soggy both times I had them). The chicken could benefit from maybe some paprika or salt and pepper in the batter that I was unable to detect. My favorite so far has been the burger with is topped with cheese and candied bacon (yum!) . . . but the bun fell a bit flat and fell apart while eating the burger (but I'll come back for it again). I noticed they have ribs and chicken sammie's, which I'd also like to give a try out to. The atmosphere is comfy and very casual (my kind of place). I'll be back because, as I said, I want to love this place and recommend you give it a try.

Ordered chicken and waffles take out, everything was delicious but the waffle was probably the best waffle I've ever eaten. Will definitely be back!
