I like this place for lunch. Lunch special is fair, I always go sushi and it is usually very good. Not so worth it for takeout, but good to go for dine in if you need to take someone out. And honestly, it's the only sushi spot nearby rye brook. Handicapped accessible parking lot

My kids love this place. Please --- upgrade the ventilation (not terrible, but should be improved if at all possible). We love the file and always order with noodles. Kids? Ask them about the Japanese sodas. They will keep your kids off the screens with entertainment for at least 10 minutes.

Ordered take out - I have 2 Buddha restaurants near my house and they are excellent, this one in rye brook is near work... I had ordered here before and the food was OK not great but I thought it could just be a one off... I ordered again from this place because some of my coworkers ordered from me and once again I was disappointed. I placed the order over the phone to pick up and the employee that took the call rushed me off. I ordered the Angry Dragon Roll which I order at all Buddha restaurants, whether Lucky Buddha, Little Buddha or Buddha. It was TERRIBLE..... the shrimp tempura inside was stale as if it has been made the day before and I asked for no papaya so they filled it with salmon (i think)... it was grossssssss!!!!!! I will not order from this place ever again!! stay away! this place needs a new sushi chef and management. Very disappointing to be a Rye Brook restaurant.

Okay where can I start oh lets start with entering the restaurant I had to walk myself to my table of almost 20 family members celebrating a birthday no one at the entrance to welcome you no one asked if I was waiting for someone if I needed to be seated nothing to the service was lousy they were so military style whoever was the manager sucked he treated the staffers/workers so militant almost as if keeping them in line they only knew a few words very blunt very unemotional bland cold as if just to serve you for you to leave and to make it worse as my son is eating his salad which was very unsatisfying to the both of us maybe cuz usually they give you a nice handful of salad this time it was like they just sprinkled some lettuce in a bowl and put whatever dressing they put in it and while my son is eating his salad he happens to find a hair in it we advise them of it they were very apologetic and offered to change the salad but the damage was already done my son and I ordered shrimp tempura which I will say was very dressed and ready fresh the food was good don't get me wrong my family and I have been there three or four other occassions and we've never had any complaints I don't know if they're Under New Management or what but the service the whole experience this time kind of sucked I feel so far away from the family we couldn't even really talk I'm just sad to say that such a nice looking place has turned into something unsatisfying but I believe in second chances because I've been there quite a few times the food has always been great in the service is always been wonderful not every time and Everywhere You Go your going to get full satisfaction you have to learn as an American to accept that as long as the food is good and the service is great this place will be a wonderful destination for many people to experience The Hibachi Sushi Eatery

Very enjoyable lunch. I had the sashimi deluxe platter, very fresh as well as reasonably priced. A nice waitress entertained my 1 year old. The decor is over the top but I enjoyed it. A nice restaurant if you would like to have an “NYC-style” experience without bothering to actually go into the city.
