Very good food. (Passable Thai Ice Tea.) Just be careful to pronounce "pad" vs. "pod" distinctly (or point to the menu item), or you might get the wrong dish...

Food was good. People were friendly and the place was nicely decorated. The lighting was intense and didn't fit the decor or ambiance. Still it was overall a good experience. I would recommend it.

Thai Basil is a great little place tucked away in the mountains. It's run by some very friendly folks. They produce delicious, quality dishes at fair prices. There is usually only one server, but it's never been a problem for me—everything consistently comes out quick and flavorful. Be aware that the parking lot is quite small, but there's plenty of on-street parking nearby. Ample seating both indoors and on the covered patio. Lunch on the patio during a rainstorm is particularly calming, if you ever get the chance!
