I wish I didn't have to give this location in Garner/Clayton any stars because THEY SUCK LIKE A BAD VACUUM CLEANER. How many times have I gone here only to experience the same inept services? They overcharged me by $8.00 today for a barbeque plate that didn't have the hush puppies as one of the sides. Granted, I ordered for a friend who had a change of mind for their order. If I conveyed that change to you, why did you still charge me for items that I didn't want and insult to injury, were not put in the bag? The manager there is hateful and snarky. I previously ordered a bacon cheeseburger with chopped onions light mayo and mustard. Their idea of that sandwich was to pass off a nasty and sloppy 'burger' with mayo and mustard smeared on the top of the bun. Unlike all the other COOKOUTS that have telephone numbers, it's no wonder this COOKOUT doesn't have a phone number because if there were a number to dial, it would ring off the hook with disgruntled diners calling in their complaints. This is nothing more than regular, American food. Can ya get it right , please?

Have you tried a peanut butter fudge with Reese's milkshake? More than half of the success is knowing what to order or how to order it. The wife turned me on to this over a year ago, it is amazing. You may want to get 2 straws in case you blow one out!

You certainly deserve a 5 for the food. That part was great. Still hot when I got it even though I waited a bit long for it. Price is great for the food. The only real issue I had was the drink that exploded from the bottom the moment I picked it up landing all over the inside of my Rover. So the crappy styrofoam cup gets a 1 star for wrecking my lunch, while the food was tasty. Replace those cups yo, they’re bad all around. You guys are better than that.

I hate to admit it but I love cookout. I love their shakes. Most times, it is our post hike go to.
