This place popped up in my search for a good chicken sandwich. I couldn't have been more pleased. The waitress said it was the best she's ever had. Well, now it's the best I've ever had. The Don Giovanni. Chicken cutlet topped with fresh mozzarella, bruchetta tomatoes, and a balsamic glaze. Oh my god! Also, the potato salad was absolutely amazing as well. Dinner menu looked incredible as well. We will be back!

If you enjoy great Italian food and value quality over quantity, then Gianni's is worth the time, price, and visit! On a Saturday night of a beautiful day, expect the restaurant to be full, busy, and extremely exciting! The illuminating bar captures your attention after you walk straight then turn left, leaving one large dining area to another, the alcohol on display invites you to wanting a refreshing margarita to start off your culinary journey on the right note, and the 5 star menu is as close to Italy as you can get in Concord, NC! But do you know what truly places Gianni's Trattoria as the Number 1 Italian destination in Concord, NC? It's the fact that Mr. Gianni himself meets every one of his guests with a big smile, a friendly Brooklyn Vin Diesel voice, and a firm handshake as he thanks you for visiting and encourages you to come back in the future! You have to visit with friends and family on repeat returns. You won't be disappointed!

We've been to this place a couple of times. The atmosphere is nice but the waitresses are pretty rude. Tonight was the worst yet. I asked for a box and when she reached for my plate to box it, which is a thing now for some stupid reason, I declined and asked if she'd just bring me a box. She gave me a look and brought me a tiny plastic thing that my leftovers would not fit in. When I asked for a bigger box she had the audacity to tell me that my food would fit. Like no. Do your job and bring me a normal box! Then we get the receipt and there's a $4 upcharge for a "custom dinner." Is this a joke? Who charges $4 and DOESN'T TELL THE CUSTOMER? So that was your tip. Hope you liked blowing it on not informing me about the rape you planned for my wallet. Def go anywhere else. Pizza Hut would probably treat you better.

I had a take-out order, so maybe if I had of eaten inside, the experience would have been better. I had ordered three different lunch sandwiches for my son and I to share. We had a Ruben, with sweet potato fries, a French Dip with provolone and aujus for dipping, and meatball sliders with potato salad. The sliders were the best out of the three, but really not much flavor! All the sandwiches were bland, with no seasoning or flavor to them. Even the fries were bland, but my dogs really enjoyed them! Not bad food, but definitely not food I would go back for. Restaurant was clean and looked like a nice place. The lady who took our order was friendly and polite. Took forever to get our to-go order, but the prices were cheap. I on the other hand rather get good food and don't mind paying for quality food, than getting not so good food at a cheap price. I may try this place again, only if I done in and hope the experience will be better. If not, I'll have to find another Italian restaurant to go to

Elegant local Italian restaurant in historic downtown. Delicious food and great service. You got to ask for the building history . I ate salad and calamari.
