This place is AMAZING! Awesome atmosphere amazing staff great views and terrible parking. Just what you would expect in a little downtown area in Hickory. I had a wonderful fish and chips lunch with an old friend and had a great time being here. Oh and their craft beer is quite good! Well....for south anyway. Nothing beats New England craft breweries but hey. It was one of the best I've had down south.

I've been a regular here for over five years, by far the best bar in town (probably the best bar for a few towns over too). The beer selection is excellent, easily two dozen great options on tap every night. Great mix of local and regional brews, IPA and craft beers are represented, including a few selections of Olde Hickory's great line-up, but you'll also see national brands, imports, ciders, and good selection of bottles. The bar tenders are all phenomenal, friendly, likely to remember you, and with a huge knowledge of mixed drinks and cocktails that I guarantee will be the strongest in town. I've never had a bad drink here, but I highly recommend their old fashioned, long island iced tea, and their Irish trashcans. They make them so well at the tap room that I can't order them anywhere else. But besides having a killer beer selection, and fantastic cocktails, the food is also top notch. Kitchen is open every night just as late as the bar (2am) and everything on the menu is honestly delicious. The burgers are killer, the fish and chips are authentic, and the pizza is surprisingly great to be from a pub. Besides all the great stuff on the regular menu there see lunch and dinner specials every day that are definitely worth checking out. I really can't recommend the tap room highly enough. The atmosphere is great, games on, live music on Sunday if there isn't a game, friendly bar tenders and wait staff (most of whom have worked there the entire 5+ years I've been hanging out there), and typically just a real cool mix of people. Honestly it's the bar I always wished for after watching cheers. If you're somehow on the fence about visiting the tap room, you gotta give it a try, you won't regret it.

When am craving for a burger I go to taproom. It's a place to go if you have a hungry crowd. Today,I ordered my usual which was not prepared well but after letting my waiter know how I felt he was pleasant to make it happen to my liking. Thank you Jordan!!!. I left with a smile as usual an a happy tummy🤗🤗🤗 Will be back an recommend to others....

We attend here monthly and love the service and atmosphere! Great place to eat and have a few beers. Some things I would recommend are their wings, fried mushrooms, pub chips, and the rib eye is really good as well.

We try to stop here on the way to the mountains from Winston. Always a great time. Best location in town. Their beer is just so so for the most part (i always drink it to support the local) but they have guest taps as well. And the food and ambiance all combined make this a lock for a good time.
