Not a fan it would probably be better if it was like other branches of service. The Air Force for example gives you money and then you can choose to spent that money at a good food place such as a chow hall that makes good food. This chow hall and others don’t give you a choice you eat here because either way they get paid. Highly not recommended, food is a solid 1 star.

Clean and efficient. Food is hit or miss. A great value for the money

Often times Marine Corps Chow Hall's are underappreciated. This time in particular my units flight was delayed. The manager was very understanding and simply asked for an estimated amount of anticipated personnel, then he went back and informed the staff to accommodate us for that night and for the morning. I absolutely recommend more individuals to eat at the chowhall.

Foods about one level above a MRE. So unless your into that sort of thing you may want to beg for your C rat plan. Most of the time you have to deal with rude staff rather it be Marines, or over worked Sodexo workers. Or your just dealing with the stressing fact that the flavorless food you are trying to choke down just cost you $10-$15. Because you don’t get to use this place enough to take advantage of your meal card, so you loose money. And you’d never pay that out in town for this low quality food.

Menu options have gradually improved within the last 3 months, and the majority of the staff members are pleasant and friendly. A manager or supervisor is almost always available.
