Delicious, fun, elegant, fun, delightful experience. Hats off to Chef Casey and the staff for always providing the best lunch and dinner dinning experience in town. I enjoy taking clients and friends. There is the fun outdoor deck seating with music, or also elegant indoor dining. My personal favorite is the She Crab soup and the Bloody Mary is good as any I have had in New Orleans.

This restaurant has it all. The menu is scrumptious. The staff is personal and professional. The owners, David and Shelle, truly make you feel they are glad you have joined them. There is indoor and outdoor seating. They have live music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. This restaurant is part of the Charleston Inn so you even get a taste of nostalgia. Truly a meal to remember and a great recommendation for your friends.

After having dinner last night at the Lantern, my wife and I thought it was just great. The food was excellent and the service was friendly and personal and after having lived and worked around the world, I give this restaurant five stars. We will return soon.

Went to the Lantern for supper. Made 7PM reservations but due to traffic didn't make it until 7:15PM. We were greeted by Chef Casey. We sat inside. there was jazz music playing in the background, which reminded me of New Orleans. Our waiter Dave brought us slices of hot buttered banana bread to munch on wile we were waiting on our meals. I ordered the Filet Mignon. Tracy got the Lobster mac. The food was delicious. The filet was so tender..The sides were mashed potatoes and slices of brussel sprouts. The dining experience at the Lantern was wonderful. The friendliness of the staff made it worth the trip to have a wonderful meal. We will be going back.
