I cannot recommend a place with more confidence than Never Blue. The food is fantastic, you can tell great care has gone into it, so yes the menu is smaller. Sometimes smaller is better. There is nothing I would not recommend and there is something for everyone. It is an eclectic environment decorated nicely. There is a section that is kind of indoor outdoor, I will just let you figure out what that means, enjoy your visit!

My wife and I spent over $40 last night at a chain restaurant for an OK meal. Today we spent $40 for a much tastier and interesting meal. The food in this chef run restaurant is creative and of better quality. The small plates are large enough to share. Four of them filled up the two of us. The chili shrimp had just enough chili flavor to add rather than overwhelm the shrimp. The small cubed potatoes were roasted, not fried, so the Feta cheese made them tasty. The jalapeno pimento cheese with tortilla strips was good. The jalapenos were very small, thinly sliced and coated in sugar so they added flavor without heat. The chicken in the Cubano taco was flavorful and very tender from being marinated. We are disappointed that Never Blue is 1600 miles from our home so it will be a long time before we can eat here again.

We ordered about 4 plates of food. Everything tasted great flavors were spot on! Was told to call ahead for reservation by friends but we just stopped in. We had to wait a few minutes but not bad considering they were packed. Staff was courteous and friendly.

What can I say... I absolutely love this place! The atmosphere, staff and the Unique Menu of Tapas ! This is a place to hang out with your Girlfriends for a Drink , Food and Conversation or Romance with your Sweetheart . The portions are plentiful for Tapas and the one of a kind flavor and culinary design are 5 Star . The Drinks are plentiful and exotic .. I suggest you try the Prickly B*tch .. Yes, That's the name.. You won't be sorry! The outdoor dining and open dining area is nice in Season.

We are so glad we visited Never Blue. The staff was friendly and helpful from the time we walked in until we left. Atmosphere is on point. Cocktails are original, attractive, and fun. The food speaks for itself. Everything you pick on the menu is absolutely phenomenal. My personal favorites were the Devils On Horseback and the Boiled Peanuts cooked with the green curry and other unique ingredients. I REALLY hope to see you all in Asheville soon. Never Blue will blow the competition away. Cheers!
