Yes, this was our first visit to Binion's. We had heard nothing but good things. After waiting at least an hour, we were excited for dinner. The waitress was super friendly...but the food?? The steaks came out like they had been run through a mechanical "tenderizer". I swear they were more like cubed steak than a fine cut of meat. We were so disappointed. No, I cannot provide you with a receipt to "authenticate" my visit. Obviously I was visiting from out of town, and chose to come based on reputation. We were sorely disappointed. You asked the reason the other places you mentioned scored higher? They met expectation. I find it interesting that in choosing the restaurants to call out that I have rated, you picked several "fast food" type eateries - when anyone who decides to look can see that I have visited many restaurants on both ends of the spectrum and all in between, and rated many of them higher than Binion's. Instead of being so defensive in your responses, I would think you would find it helpful to get feedback from folks from a variety of backgrounds...but that is a choice. Same as what I have - not to ever visit Binion's again. Happy Trails Mr. Bob!

Great night out. Excellent and very attentive service. We've eaten there numerous times, the food is always good. The pricing is reasonable with similar places. Love the free bowls of peanuts, crack and scatter the shells where you sit. So far no complaints.

I really do not care for the peanuts I think it is unsanitary. We have found gum in them and ants. Waitresses are always kind. There seems to always be too many employees standing around at the front where you check in. Food is good. I had sirloin tips medium and they were perfectly cooked. My husband had hamburger steak his too was cooked perfectly.

What an great place. The food was amazing I could not ask for a better experience for our group. The place was really packed but we were able to get our seats with no problem. Service was amazing. I definitely recommend the fried pickles, they were amazing.

Too many people standing around up front. We waited longer than anyone for a table. There were 5 empty tables when we were seated. My wife's potato was so cold the butter would not melt. The steaks were cooked properly. The waitress was great. Not her fault. The people that clean the tables did a good job. The host staff, kitchen staff, and the manager need to take their job more seriously. I have been eating there for over 15 years. Not the same place anymore.
