This was not our first visit. I wanted to try something different this time so I ordered the lime chicken; and instead of the Spanish rice I wanted white rice. and instead of the spicy ranch sauce I wanted the Oriental sauce from another dish and they were very good to accommodate my changes. I also ordered fries , and they were SO loaded with black pepper & salt, they were so salty and peppery they burned my mouth. I should've sent them back. Our server was very sweet but not very attentive. my chicken came looking like a picture but after the second bite I realized it was not cooked thoroughly so I sent it back. the manager brought me out a new dish and assured me it would be cooked to perfection. It was NOT! my husband ordered the Oriental salad with grilled chicken strips and his chicken strips were not quite cooked completely. we didn't say anything --we just took it home. he had to ask twice for a second cup of coffee which he NEVER got. Our server brought the bill but she noticed that the manager had charged me twice (!) for my chicken dish so she went and took the extra charge off. But we felt that the manager should have paid for my dinner completely because it never came until my husband and my granddaughter were completely finished with their meal, thus ruining our whole experience. We will not be going back to Applebee's EVER!
