great waiter mcguel. Everyone one is so nice. Great atmosphere. I have to be honest I did not like the short ribs and my husband said okay on the fish. dessert delicious and appetizer. I feel like the last two times there the menu really does not change. When I go to a restaurant like this I like to see different foods and not fried chicken. meal was very pricey but the time there was great.

So delicious! Only getting 4 stars because the sauteed spinach left a lot to be desired & the hostess who greeted us made us feel like we should have made a reservation when we walked into the nearly empty restaurant. But our server was awesome and made us feel very welcome!

My wife and I visited from Alpharetta to shop at the Hickory Furniture Mart. Cafe Rule came highly recommended by our salesperson and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing and the wine selection was outstanding. We will be returning to the area to purchase furniture and visit Cafe Rule!

Yay, Hickory finally has an awesome brunch spot! I've been to Cafe Rule for dinner, drinks, parties, etc; but their Sunday brunch is definitely the jewel in their crown. Any good brunch begins with a great mimosa, and this was the best I've had in memory. Follow it with inventive appetizers and entrees (delish chicken and waffles) and excellent service, and this is a meal/experience that really stands out. If you've been looking for a stellar Sunday brunch in Hickory, look no further than Cafe Rule.

The wine list here is wonderful, and the desserts are delicious. It's just a tad bit pricey though. The food itself I wouldn't pay that much for, but the atmosphere here is great and the waiter was awesome.
