Duck's is one of the nicest places you can go locally for delicious, gourmet food and drinks. The menu will definitely not let you down if you're a foodie like me. Although we've only been here a few times, (mostly because the prices are a little too steep even with the food quality considered) we have never had anything we didn't love. This is a great place for a special occasion or date night, but also not bad as a get-together place for friends. The right side is geared towards the food service, and the left side is the bar/hangout area. The staff is very professional and service geared, which is rare to find in Jacksonvillle. I'm only giving 4 stars instead of 5 because of the prices. They know they're the best around, and I think they overcharge on many of their dishes due to this fact. I've lived all over the country and the world, and you can often find gourmet-quality a little more reasonably priced. Hoping to see some changes in that area so we could enjoy more frequently.

Went here for their Lip Sync Battle and had a good time! The back room bar area that night was standing room only but the atmosphere was fun and lite! I also like the fact that if you get a little bit too toasted they have a shuttle service. Can't wait to see what other events they will be hosting.

I came here for the mother's day brunch and it was absolutely great. It made my mother's day. The food was so delicious and everyone was so consistent with the service! This restaurant is very upscale ! Awesome job

Solid choice for upscale dining with hunting attire. Each meal looked like it was prepared with thought and care. Good food, good staff. Some seating is too close to restrooms and the noise/odors don't make for a pleasant meal. Come early and ask to be seated in the front of house.

We loved everything we had here! We got the duck nachos, the blue burger, the mushroom Swiss burger, and the rib sandwich. One of the most impressive parts was how the duck was cooked for the nachos: it was shredded but still really moist and flavorful. The nachos were layered with the cheese and other ingredients, as opposed to just a pile of chips with ingredients on top. All the meat was very well prepared, well seasoned, and tender. We were very impressed with the draft beer list and thoroughly enjoyed the Kona Hanalei draft. My dad got a bloody Mary from the bloody Mary bar and loved the accoutrements. Lots of great options to add on if you want. Our waitress was very friendly and checked in just enough. She was very aware of when our drinks were running low and cleared empty plates quickly. The only odd bit was the wait when we came in. There wasn't anyone at the front desk and we were standing there for maybe 3 minutes. We saw menus and ended up looking at our options while we waited. To be fair to the hostess, we did come at an off-peak time (around 2 pm). And when she came, she sat us right away. Overall, I am excited to bring visiting family members here to show what Jacksonville has to offer! Great experience.
