Very good place with delicious food and good service. Because of their location, not so many people know about this place, so they usually have plenty of room and short wait time. Perfect place for everything from a quick lunch to a fancy dinner.

Wonderful sushi! Cannot say good enough things! The owner is a sweet, passionate, disciplined person who clearly takes pride in her food. The staff is great, the prices are completely reasonable. This place is a hidden gem that is well worth discovering!! My recommendation: the Kannapolis roll. If you like tuna, long strands of crab, cucumber, and sauce, this will likely be the best sushi you will have. It's THAT good!

Its been over a year since I've been here since my last visit where I waited an hour for my food and placing my order 3 times. No discount or apologies given. Now it's a new location but same owners . When you walk in you're welcomed with bright sunny colors but makes you wonder if you really are in an Asian restaurant . Never saw an Asian employee until I was leaving. Employees were more welcoming this time and was even offered a dish with a hot towel on it for my hands before the meal. I was impressed. The miso soup I ordered as an appetizer was not brought out until it was brought with the main course. The soup and dish were good as well as the green tea. The green tea were fresh shredded leafs without a tea bag so you had to be careful sipping the tea as the leaves would end up in your mouth. Did not receive a bill, but it wasn't busy, only 2 other tables. I tipped well but staff could not even say thank you for visiting or please come back when I left. Bad impression. One of the very few times I wasn't even offered a fortune cookie. Food was good, tried something new. Service was better but if you can't even say thank you, why come back?

As a person who eats alot of sushi at all kinds of places I can say that this has to be my favorite. best in cabarrus county!!! If you go for some of the super rolls you won't be disappointed. Very good taste and always made fresh I have and will continue to return. Staff are always friendly and the owner is always wearing a smile. EAT AT SUNSHINE'S!!!

Hands down the best Asian restaurant in cabarrus county. Owner is always wearing a smile and the waiter is very friendly. I always get sushi when I come and I've also tried the sesame chicken and the pad Thai, all of which were amazing. EAT AT SUNSHINE'S
