There are a couple pieces of information that will help determine the type of visit you have here. 1. It is a small family owned store. The couple that own it are greek. There are 2 stores about 5 miles apart. That's it. If you tend to prefer large restaurant chains, this isn't it. 2. This is sort of a hybrid operation. It is partially cafeteria style and partially sit down eating. You pay up front for your food, and you carry your drinks and certain food items with you to your table. If this is going to offend you, you're best off to eat elsewhere. 3. They deliver the main course (they only serve breakfast so typically pancakes, waffles, French toast, etc) to your table, and refill drinks as needed. 4. As above, this is a small operation. They don't have unlimited resources. What few bad reviews are on here usually mention your busy it is. If people are lined up out the front door, they're not going to be able to deliver the very thorough and amazingly mom n pop service as when they have a table or two open. That's it. Now you can predict what sort of experience you'll have here! The owners are great people, try very hard, and run a top notch breakfast joint!

The food is top notch!! I had the French toast with 1 egg and sausage, and it was to die for! My boyfriend got the high stack and it was wonderful! Oh, and the grits! Also, they are soooo friendly and personable! The chef himself even walked around laughing and joking with us! If you love breakfast like me, you simply must stop in here to start your beach day off right! Thank you guys for the delicious food and hospitality!

Usually this place is very good, but this past Mother's Day was not. My waffle was under done, the sunny-side eggs were overfried. By the time I got a new order, my family was finished. I finally had to ask for a coffee warm-up. And they weren't even busy at 12 noon! Most times, our meal is very good. Waffles are usually great. I suppose every restaurant has a bad day!

Went here for breakfast. It was cafeteria stylish, pickup your drinks and order from overhead menus. Then a wait staff member delivers your order. The flavor and quality of the food was adequate for a chain restaurant, but the waitresses were more focused on sweeping floors and washing walls then on waiting on customers needs, such as refilling drinks.

Very homey atmosphere. The customer service and attention given to customers is top notch. The cook comes to the table and discusses the food preparation and makes sure guests are satisfied. The grits are unique and a must try for breakfast!
